HOCHLÆNDER / HIGHLANDS Melting Glaciers 1-16, 2011 – Helvetische Landschaften (ongoing project)
Gletscher haben einen wichtigen kompensatorischen Effekt bezüglich der Wasserbilanz in den Bergen und in den Vorgebirgsgebieten.

In niederschlagsreichen Jahren wird vermehrt Wasser zurückgehalten, da die Schneedecke, die sich auf dem Gletscher ansammelt,

das Eis vor dem Schmelzen schützt.*
Die Farbpigmentanordnungen sind in den Landschaftsbildern prominent. Es wird nicht nur ein Perspektivwechsel des Betrachters zum
Bildgebenden Verfahren der Fotografie provoziert. Der Betrachter erhält die Möglichkeit sein Verhältnis zum Sujets neu zu begreifen.
 
Glaciers have an important compensatory effect on the water balance in the mountains and their foothills: in high precipitation years,
more water is retained, since the snow cover accumulating on glaciers protects the ice from melting.*
